Outside sales for NYC-based Lighting Company

A NYC-based lighting manufacturer and distributor is seeking a motivated and experienced salesperson to join our growing sales team.

We serve customers throughout the United States and are looking for someone who is confident on the phone, comfortable developing new business, and able to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, persistent, and driven by results. Previous sales experience is preferred, especially in lighting, electrical, distribution, wholesale, or a related industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and strengthening relationships with current customers
• Developing new customer relationships and generating new business
• Following up on leads and existing accounts
• Identifying opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts
• Providing professional and responsive customer service
• Working closely with our internal sales and operations teams
