Position Overview

A retail business is seeking a responsible, friendly, and dependable Retail Sales Associate to join its team. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

This is a customer-facing position ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, provides excellent service, and can be trusted to handle day-to-day responsibilities independently. Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with questions and product selections.
• Help create a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
• Maintain an organized and presentable retail environment.
• Assist with basic sales transactions and customer purchases.
• Answer customer questions in person and over the phone as needed.
• Help organize and maintain merchandise.
• Assist with general day-to-day store responsibilities.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Provide dependable coverage during scheduled shifts.
• Assist with additional store responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, personable, and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and customer-service oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn store procedures and product information.
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule based on store needs.
