Job description

About the Role

As a Logistics Manager, you are a leader of people with responsibility for our on-site operations in our Harlem Pharmacy. Your primary mission is to foster a supportive, respectful, and accountable environment, because we believe that a delightful employee experience is the foundation of a delightful customer experience.

Build and lead a thriving courier team, dedicating your time to one-on-one coaching, celebrating successes, and professionally addressing the challenges your team faces on the ground in NY.

Provide strong leadership ensuring consistent communication, standard process adherence, and a supportive culture within the fulfillment operation in our Harlem pharmacy.

Master the art of balancing the daily needs of your teams with the strategic goals of the business, ensuring operational targets are met while making your couriers feel supported.

Utilize our technology and standard processes to ensure fairness and transparency in scheduling, routing, and daily operations for every member of your teams.

Partner with other leaders to share insights from the field, acting as the voice of your couriers to help us continuously improve as a company.

Compile loss reports, ensuring operational integrity and compliance.

Requirements:

You have proven experience leading, coaching, and developing frontline, hourly teams. Experience in logistics is a plus, but your track record as a leader in retail, hospitality, or similar service-oriented environments is most important.

You are an exceptional listener with outstanding people skills, driven by a natural curiosity to earn trust and solve the real-world challenges your team encounters.

You are a pragmatic problem-solver, skilled at finding the thoughtful middle ground between employee needs and business requirements.

You are adaptable and comfortable learning new technologies, viewing them as tools to help you better support your team and run a fair, efficient operation.

You are available to work within operating hours: Typical work day: Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 2:30PM Onsite
