Job description
Tower Research Capital is seeking a commercially minded Procurement Manager to strengthen our global procurement and logistics capabilities. This individual will operate independently within established priorities and serve as a trusted partner to senior business stakeholders, suppliers and other support functions.
Responsibilities
Supporting the development and execution of end-to-end sourcing strategies, independently managing assigned initiatives from requirements gathering and market analysis through negotiation, contracting, implementation, and renewal
Serving as a commercial partner to internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable sourcing strategies, supplier recommendations, and execution plans
Leading negotiations within agreed parameters across pricing, commercial terms, service-level agreements, performance measures, and renewals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and company requirements
Developing pricing, scenario, and total-cost models while supporting forward-looking contract and renewal planning across commercial risks, obligations, performance commitments, and key milestones
Independently managing and prioritizing assigned purchasing activity in partnership with Procurement Operations, ensuring responsive, accurate, and compliant execution aligned with business priorities
Delivering strategic spend and category analytics across suppliers, departments, and regions, identifying demand trends, commercial risks, savings opportunities, supplier consolidation potential, and areas to increase Spend Under Management
Supporting logistics and supply continuity strategies, coordinating across internal teams and suppliers to mitigate fulfillment risks, improve delivery performance, and resolve critical supply issues
Supporting the evolution of a scalable global procurement operating model, including policies, governance, processes, data, controls, systems, reporting, and ITAM-related capabilities
Providing execution and decision support to procurement leadership across strategic priorities, transformation programs, special projects, and time-sensitive business needs
Evaluating processes, stakeholder experience, controls, and data quality to identify and implement approved improvements that increase efficiency, reduce cost, strengthen governance, and improve service delivery
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Five to ten years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, or a closely related role, ideally supporting a high-volume and fast-moving organization
Strong command of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, sourcing best practices, contract renewals, and purchasing operations
Demonstrated success negotiating commercial terms and developing clear, decision-ready financial and pricing analyses
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and executives and influencing outcomes across functions without relying on direct authority
Strong project-management capabilities, including the ability to independently prioritize assigned work, manage competing demands and risks, and drive work to completion
Excellent written and verbal communication, sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and exceptional attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in technology, financial services, quantitative trading, or another technically complex environment
Experience with enterprise resource planning, source-to-pay, contract-management, or procurement platforms such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, GEP, or comparable systems
Experience supporting and communicating with senior and executive level stakeholders
Experience with procurement-system implementation and transformation initiatives
