Responsibilities may include assisting with workflow processes, making recommendations for improvements, gathering, evaluating, and analyzing data from multiple sources, preparing reports, and supporting administrative duties, as needed.
In addition to project-based work, interns take part in team huddles and strategic meetings, gaining insight into how NewYork-Presbyterian addresses the social determinants of health through community education, collaboration with community stakeholders, and preventive resources. Interns will also have access to centralized resources, including database tools and mentorship programs, to support their projects and learning. Additionally, interns will participate in workshops, seminars, and training sessions designed to strengthen skills in research methods, data analysis, communication, presentation, and project management.
