Job description

About the Role
We're looking for an IT Support Specialist to help deliver a secure, reliable, and seamless technology experience for IXOPAY employees across our global organization.

In this role, you'll provide hands-on technical support across the systems, applications, devices, and access our teams rely on every day. You'll manage requests through our internal service desk, support identity and access management, administer core SaaS platforms, and play an important role in employee onboarding and offboarding.

You'll work closely with employees across technical and business teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure people have the tools and access they need to work effectively. You'll also have opportunities to automate recurring tasks, strengthen documentation, and help improve the overall employee technology experience.

What You'll Do
Provide Technical Support
Triage, troubleshoot, resolve, and document IT support requests through Jira Service Management, Slack, and email.

Diagnose hardware, software, application, connectivity, and access issues across macOS and Windows environments.

Provide clear, responsive support to employees across different teams, locations, and levels of technical expertise.

Create and maintain knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and internal IT documentation to improve self-service and support efficiency.

Manage Identity & Access
Support identity and access management across Okta, including SSO, MFA enrollment and resets, application assignments, and account troubleshooting.

Administer access to systems such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Salesforce, AWS, 1Password, and other business applications.

Process access requests through established approval and provisioning workflows while following least-privilege and security principles.

Support periodic access reviews and other security and compliance processes.

Support the Employee Technology Lifecycle
Manage IT activities associated with employee and contractor onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.

Provision and deprovision accounts, application access, and equipment accurately and on schedule.

Configure, deploy, and support laptops, peripherals, software, and other workplace technology.

Support device management across macOS and Windows environments using MDM technologies such as Microsoft Intune and Company Portal.

Coordinate equipment preparation, shipping, returns, procurement, and asset tracking.

Administer & Improve IT Systems
Support and administer core SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Salesforce, Atlassian, and emerging AI tools.

Build lightweight scripts, integrations, and workflows to automate repetitive IT processes and improve operational efficiency.

Identify recurring support issues and recommend improvements that reduce friction and improve the employee experience.

Contribute to IT standards, runbooks, documentation, and operational best practices as IXOPAY continues to grow.

What You'll Bring
Required
Experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Service Desk, Desktop Support, IT Operations, or a similar technical support role.

Hands-on experience supporting both macOS and Windows environments.

Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, SaaS applications, connectivity, and user access issues.

Experience supporting identity and access management, SSO, MFA, and user provisioning.

Familiarity with modern SaaS environments and tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Atlassian, or similar platforms.

Experience working with ticketing or IT service management systems such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or similar tools.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues independently and know when escalation is appropriate.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical employees.

Strong attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality, security, and appropriate access controls.

Ability to prioritize multiple requests and provide responsive support in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Preferred
Experience administering Okta, including SSO, MFA, application assignments, and user lifecycle management.

Experience with Microsoft Intune, Company Portal, or other MDM/device management platforms.

Experience administering or supporting 1Password, Salesforce, AWS, or Atlassian products.

Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes within a global or distributed workforce.

Familiarity with IT security concepts such as least privilege, access reviews, device security, and compliance requirements.

Experience creating lightweight scripts, automations, Jira workflows, Slack workflows, or similar process improvements.

Experience supporting or administering enterprise AI tools.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
