Low Voltage Technician

Role Description

ID Tech Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician for a full-time, field-based position serving clients throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region.

The role focuses primarily on servicing and troubleshooting low-voltage communications and physical security systems, along with smaller installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CCTV, access control, burglar alarm, and phone systems
Perform low-voltage cabling work, small installations, and system upgrades as needed
Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
Test systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality
Travel to client locations throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region
Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding service issues, findings, and completed work
Maintain accurate documentation of service and installation work

Requirements
Qualifications

5+ years of experience with low-voltage cabling maintenance and troubleshooting
5+ years of hands-on experience working with CCTV, access control, burglar alarm, and phone systems
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with the team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license
Ability and willingness to travel to client sites throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area and surrounding region
Relevant low-voltage certifications, technical training, or a degree in a related field is a plus
