Position Summary:

JCCA is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Residence Supervisors to support the daily operation of our residential programs. Reporting to the Residence Supervisor, the Assistant Residence Supervisor plays an important leadership role in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where youth can develop positive relationships, build skills, and make meaningful progress.

Summary of Job Duties:

  • Partner with the Residence Supervisor to oversee daily residential operations and staffing.
  • Support staff supervision, coaching, training, and development.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
  • Model effective strategies for teaching positive and replacement behaviors.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulations, and residential standards.
  • Support the development and implementation of behavioral plans, ICSPs, safety plans, and youth-development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with youth, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor program progress and ensure timely, accurate incident reports and documentation.
  • Assist with cottage systems that promote accountability, positive relationships, and youth success.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience working with youth in a residential treatment setting
  • Administrative experience demonstrating leadership capability
  • Must be proficient in basic computer, applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Valid NYS Driver license is highly preferred; NJ or CT license is acceptable


Schedule: 

Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm or 4pm -12am

Compensation:

$25.00 - 27.40 per hour ($52K - $57K annualized)
