Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and achieving ambitious fundraising goals for expanding philanthropic support for the Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT) by cultivating relationships with Israeli donors, alumni, foundations, and corporate partners. This individual will develop and execute strategies to increase scholarship funding, identify and pursue grant opportunities, and build a sustainable pipeline of philanthropic support aligned with JCT’s mission and strategic priorities.

This individual would serve as no.2 under the Head of Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising and Donor Development
• Develop and implement strategies to grow philanthropic support from Israeli individual donors and alumni.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective donors through research, networking, outreach, and relationship cultivation.
• Solicit and steward gifts for scholarships, academic programs, and institutional priorities.
• Help organize donor meetings, campus visits, and engagement opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication with donors to strengthen long-term relationships and encourage continued support.
Grant Development
• Research and identify funding opportunities from Israeli foundations, government agencies, and corporate giving programs.
• Prepare compelling grant proposals and supporting materials in collaboration with faculty and administrative leadership.
• Manage grant submission timelines and reporting requirements.
• Monitor funding opportunities and recommend new initiatives aligned with institutional priorities.
Partnerships Research
• Research corporate partners and philanthropic organizations that support higher education, technology, innovation, and workforce development.
• Identify opportunities for sponsorships, scholarships, and strategic collaborations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, business development, sales, partnerships, or relationship management.
• Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships and securing financial support or business opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor management/CRM systems.
• Comfortable working in a religious college environment
• This is a mostly in-house position in Jerusalem

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or philanthropy.
• Familiarity with the Israeli philanthropic landscape and grant-making foundations.
• Experience preparing grant proposals and donor presentations.

Key Performance Indicators
• Annual fundraising revenue from Israeli donors.
• Scholarship funding secured.
• Number of new donors and alumni engaged.
• Grant proposals submitted and funding awarded.
• Donor retention and stewardship outcomes.
• Growth and quality of the fundraising pipeline.
