Job description

The Jewish Federation of Broward County is seeking a Senior Director, Community Partnership Engagement, to lead its efforts to build a more connected, collaborative, and effective Jewish Broward. Part of the Impact & Engagement department, this role oversees the Stronger Together Partnership Architecture emerging from Ignite Broward, building the relationships and networks that connect organizations across the community and strengthening their capacity through professional development, shared resources, and peer learning. Responsibilities: • Serve as Federation's primary relationship manager with Broward synagogues, connecting congregational leadership to Federation resources, campaigns, and collaborative programming • Oversee the Shared Partnership Tables (Board of Rabbis, Congregational Education Directors, Jewish Early Childhood Professionals, and Youth Group Professionals) • Build new communities of practice, including an Executive Directors Roundtable and a Synagogue Lay Leadership Network • Launch the Stronger Together Awards and manage the Collaborative Micro-Grant pilot • Develop and lead a professional leadership development program for a cohort of Jewish communal professionals • Provide strategic oversight for Leadership Connect, Jewish Broward's central networking and learning forum for lay and professional leaders • Convene partners around shared needs, defining goals, roles, timelines, and measures of success Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred • 7-10 years of leadership experience in the Jewish communal, nonprofit, synagogue, or related sector • Deep understanding of Jewish communal organizations and synagogue life • Exceptional relationship-building and facilitation skills, with experience advancing community-wide initiatives through influence • Strong project management, communication, and organizational abilities • A natural connector, equally comfortable with rabbis, volunteer leaders, agency executives, and Federation professionals
