This position helps ensure the effective management of institutional and individual fundraising efforts through the maintenance of accurate donor and grant records, coordination of grant workflows, budget tracking, and cross-departmental collaboration. Working closely with Development, Finance, and Program teams, the Coordinator will help manage systems and processes that support proposal development, reporting, stewardship, and strategic planning, with a focus on institutional giving. Based in our NY office four days per week, and reporting to the Director of Institutional Giving, this role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys data management, project coordination, and building efficient systems to support fundraising success. **Key Responsibilities** -**Grants Management and Fundraising Operations** -Maintain accurate donor records, grant information, and fundraising activity within Salesforce. -Oversee grant tracking systems, ensuring proposal, report, payment, and stewardship deadlines are up to date. -Generate reports, dashboards, and fundraising data to support Institutional Giving strategy and decision-making. -Support prospect research and foundation portfolio management activities. -Maintain donor records related to contacts, gifts, grants, correspondence, and funding history. -**Project Management and Workflow Coordination** -Manage Monday.com workflows for foundation proposals, reports, and related projects. -Coordinate timelines and deliverables across Development, Program, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams. -Monitor project progress and follow up with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met. -Assist in the development and implementation of streamlined grant management processes and best practices. -Partner with program staff to collect program highlights, anecdotes, and other key metrics for reporting purposes. -Support team planning efforts by maintaining calendars, schedules, and project tracking systems. -**Budget and Financial Coordination** -Serve as a liaison between Institutional Giving and the Finance team regarding grant budgets and financial reporting. -Assist in the preparation, review, and tracking of grant budgets. -Coordinate the collection of financial information required for foundation proposals and reports. -Ensure budget information contained in proposals and reports aligns with grant agreements. -**Data Integrity and Systems Administration** -Maintain data quality within Salesforce through regular audits, updates, and process improvements. -Support the creation and maintenance of fundraising reports, dashboards, and prospect tracking tools. -Identify opportunities to improve data management and operational efficiency across the Institutional function. **Qualifications** -At least 4 years of professional experience in nonprofit fundraising, development operations, grants management, project coordination, or a related field. -Knowledge and familiarity with the Jewish community and philanthropic landscape preferred but not required. -Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce (preferred) or a comparable CRM system. -Experience using project management platforms such as Monday.com, Asana, or similar tools. -Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Experience working with budgets, financial data, or grant financial reporting preferred. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. -Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments. -Commitment to SHI NA's mission and values. -BA / BS or equivalent **Salary and Benefits**: The salary for this position is $68,000 - $71,000, commensurate with experience.
