Job description

The Role
This is a senior leadership role accountable for all of Legora's marketing activity across North America. You will own the North American marketing strategy, lead the regional team, and sit at the intersection of brand, demand, and revenue. You'll report to the Senior Director, International Marketing and partner closely with the CRO, VP Revenue for North America, and other North American revenue leaders to ensure marketing is a genuine growth driver.

This role sits above and across our regional marketing directors. Where they execute excellence within their markets, you design the operating model that makes that possible: the strategy, the investment allocation, the team, and the standard.

What You’ll Do
North America Category Leadership

Own Legora's category narrative and brand positioning across the full North American market: East, West, Central, and emerging segments.

Set the strategic positioning framework that regional teams execute against, ensuring consistency while enabling local relevance.

Represent marketing in cross-functional leadership conversations at the North America level.

Be accountable for Legora being recognised as the category leader in legal AI across North America, not just in select markets.

GTM Architecture & Pipeline Strategy

Design the North American GTM model: how regions are resourced, how ABM tiers are structured, and how field and digital channels work together.

Own the pipeline generation and influence targets at the North America level and be the senior marketing partner to the VP Revenue of North America.

Direct Legora's presence at flagship industry moments – tier-one third-party events and large owned events – enabling the regional teams to treat them as integrated campaigns, not standalone activations.

Partner with the Growth team to evolve our demand generation motion as we scale into new segments and geographies.

Partner closely with Product Marketing to stay ahead of Legora's competitive position, identifying key product levers, translating capability into market narrative, and ensuring campaigns are built on the genuine strength of the product, whether the goal is competitive displacement, category creation, or expansion.

Customer-Led Growth & Advocacy

Own the North American customer marketing strategy — building the advocacy engine that drives references, case studies, and community.

Define how customer stories ladder up to the category narrative and are deployed across the funnel.

Partner with Engagement and Community on adoption and expansion programs that move the needle on NRR across the region.

Organizational Leadership & Operating Model

Own the full North American marketing P&L, allocating investment across regions, setting priorities, and reporting to marketing leadership with clarity.

Build and develop the North American marketing team, including regional Marketing Directors and their reports.

Set the operating model: define what good looks like, establish cross-regional processes, and build scalable ways of working without sacrificing speed, quality, or creativity.

Identify capability gaps and make the case for investment in people, technology, and programmes to close them.

What You Bring
8–12+ years in B2B marketing, with meaningful time in senior leadership roles accountable for pipeline and revenue outcomes.

Experience building and leading marketing teams across multiple regions or markets. You know what it takes to operate at scale and how to get the best from distributed teams.

Deep fluency in brand strategy, ABM, field marketing, integrated campaigns, and a clear point of view on how they fit together into an 360-degree motion.

A track record of building category presence, not just executing campaigns. You've shaped how a company is perceived in its market, not just promoted its products.

Experience in legal tech, enterprise SaaS, or a professional services-adjacent environment is a strong advantage.

Exceptional communicator. You can move between CMO-level strategy and campaign-level detail, and you bring teams along with you.

You build teams that run toward data, not away from it. You've contributed meaningfully to the measurement infrastructure to prove marketing's impact, not just report on it.

Strong commercial instincts. You think in pipeline, revenue, and NRR, not just impressions and MQLs.
