Elevator Operator – SEASONAL

What you will be doing:

Operate passenger and freight elevators safely and efficiently
Transport staff, delegates, and visitors between floors with courtesy and professionalism
Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the elevators
Ensure elevators stop accurately at designated floors
Help with the loading and unloading of materials as needed
Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly to the maintenance team
Verify access credentials and grounds passes to support building security
Prevent unauthorized access to restricted floors through vigilant monitoring
Ensure that no more than 10 individuals are present in the elevator at any given time to comply with safety regulations and operational standards
Other duties as required and assigned
Supports GEODIS’ programs for Safety, Health, Environment, Quality , Ethics, Compliance, CSR and Sustainability

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor
