The Opportunity
As Regional Sales Director (RSD), you will have significant ownership of the commercial success of the North America East region. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing and executing the regional go-to-market strategy, driving revenue growth, expanding strategic accounts, developing new business, and leading sales resources.

You will serve as a senior representative of Astrodyne TDI to customers, prospects, distribution partners, and industry stakeholders. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Applications Engineering, Operations, and Finance, you will translate customer needs into solutions and opportunities that create long-term value for both the customer and Astrodyne TDI.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished B2B sales leader with a strong technical orientation, established industry relationships, and a demonstrated ability to grow complex, consultative sales. You are comfortable developing strategy, coaching sales professionals, negotiating commercial agreements, and personally engaging with senior decision-makers at strategic accounts.

What You'll Do
Regional Sales Leadership & Strategy
Own the regional go-to-market strategy and sales plan for North America East, aligning priorities with company growth objectives.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, margin, new-account acquisition, and other assigned sales objectives.
Identify market opportunities, emerging applications, competitive trends, and customer needs that can drive regional growth.
Establish account strategies and priorities for key customers and prospects.
Build and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline and ensure opportunities are actively progressed through the sales cycle.
Develop strategies for expanding existing customer relationships while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
Provide regular forecasting, pipeline reviews, market intelligence, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
Strategic Account Development
Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers, technical stakeholders, procurement organizations, and other key influencers.
Serve as the senior commercial point of contact for strategic accounts within the region.
Identify opportunities to expand Astrodyne TDI's products and solutions across existing customer organizations.
Lead complex, consultative sales engagements from initial opportunity through commercial agreement and implementation.
Represent Astrodyne TDI at customer meetings, executive reviews, industry events, and strategic business discussions.
Build long-term partnerships that increase customer engagement, retention, and share of wallet.
Sales Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop direct sales personnel within the region.
Establish clear goals, account priorities, activity expectations, and performance objectives.
Provide coaching and strategic direction to help sales team members successfully develop and close opportunities.
Foster accountability, collaboration, and a customer-focused sales culture.
Partner with sales resources and technical personnel to ensure effective coverage of key accounts and opportunities.
Channel & Partner Management
Develop, manage, and motivate manufacturer's representatives, distributors, and other channel partners.
Establish clear expectations, territory strategies, and performance objectives for channel partners.
Evaluate partner performance and identify opportunities to strengthen regional coverage.
Build relationships with strategic partners that expand market reach and generate new business.
Customer Solutions & Commercial Leadership
Partner closely with Field Applications Engineering, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams to develop compelling customer solutions and proposals.
Lead the commercial strategy for complex RFQs, RFPs, contracts, blanket agreements, and other customer opportunities.
Prepare, recommend, and negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and conditions within established company guidelines and approval processes.
Clearly communicate customer requirements and value propositions to internal teams.
Coordinate resolution of significant customer concerns, escalations, and corrective actions.
Provide market and customer insight that helps influence product development and business strategy.
Business Development & Market Presence
Proactively develop new accounts, applications, markets, and revenue opportunities.
Leverage professional networks, industry relationships, referrals, trade shows, events, and other business-development channels to expand the opportunity pipeline.
Represent Astrodyne TDI at trade shows, conferences, customer events, and industry functions.
Identify opportunities for thought leadership, presentations, speaking engagements, and other activities that strengthen Astrodyne TDI's market presence.
Maintain accurate customer, contact, activity, and opportunity information within Salesforce.com.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
7+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, with demonstrated success in complex technical or engineered-product sales.
Prior experience selling power supplies, power conversion, EMI/EMC filters, power electronics, or related technologies strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience leading sales professionals and/or managing a regional sales organization.
Established network of relationships within one or more of the following markets: Industrial, Medical, Semiconductor, Aerospace, Defense/Military, or other high-reliability applications.
Proven record of achieving revenue growth and developing new strategic accounts.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiating commercial agreements.
Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling.
Ability to understand technical customer requirements and effectively communicate with engineers and other technical stakeholders.
Experience working effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and financial understanding.
Excellent presentation, communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
Leadership Profile
The successful candidate will be a strategic sales leader and hands-on business developer who knows how to balance long-term account strategy with the urgency of delivering results.

You are someone who:

Thinks strategically while remaining close to customers and opportunities.
Builds credibility quickly with executives, engineers, procurement professionals, and sales teams.
Coaches and develops people while holding them accountable for results.
Is comfortable navigating complex technical sales environments.
Creates opportunities rather than waiting for them to develop.
Brings energy, persistence, sound judgment, and a strong customer focus to every engagement.
Can influence cross-functional teams and bring people together around a customer solution.
Understands that sustainable growth comes from both winning new business and deepening existing customer relationships.
