THE OPPORTUNITY
Staffed family child care networks provide transformative and lasting connections that build and sustain child care. In these networks, paid, specialized staff members provide services and resources to family child care educators. In turn, educators take on leadership roles, build relationships with coaches, develop peer connections, achieve goals they set for their businesses, and enhance children's learning and development in their programs.
Through our technical assistance, All Our Kin leverages decades of experience and proven outcomes from implementing networks to partner with teams in developing their own.The Manager of Technical Assistance works closely with internal subject matter experts to develop tools and content that support organizations in the field while strengthening All Our Kin’s visibility, credibility, and engagement with potential partners. The Manager of Technical Assistance also coaches and delivers trainings with partners based on the resources.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Education: 5–7 years of experience in technical assistance, coaching, consulting, resource production, communications, or related roles
Experience:
Strong writing, editing, and content development skills
Experience translating complex ideas or expertise into accessible resources or learning materials
Experience developing toolkits, guides, training resources, webinars, learning events, and digital knowledge platforms
Background in the provision of services and resources for family child care
Understanding of adult learning theory
Experience in facilitation and coaching
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse teams
Nonprofit Experience: Experience in professional services, nonprofits, advisory organizations, or mission-driven environments is preferred

Summary
Role Overview
All Our Kin is seeking a Manager of Technical Assistance to help external organizations build and sustain their own staffed family child care networks. In this role, you will collaborate with internal subject matter experts to design impactful tools, content, and resources. You will also directly coach and train partner organizations, leveraging All Our Kin's proven model to expand early childhood education access and strengthen the organization's national visibility and partnerships.
Primary Duties
Technical Assistance Content Strategy and Design
Assist with the design and implementation of a strategy for developing open access technical assistance resources.
Design and deliver high-quality thought leadership and technical assistance materials, such as:
Technical assistance guides and toolkits
Blog posts
Case studies
Frameworks and models
Webinars and presentation materials
Ensure resources are clear, practical, equity-centered, visually appealing and on-brand.
Assist with setting and tracking outcomes for the TA resource strategy and identifying opportunities to improve or expand technical assistance offerings based on utilization, feedback, partner needs and emerging trends.
Deliver Training and Technical Assistance
Deliver coaching, thought partnership and training rooted in All Our Kin’s model and coaching methodologies such as relational, responsive and reflective practice, mentor coaching, and family child care recruitment and supply-building.
Help produce, promote, facilitate and evaluate webinars, workshops, or learning events for family child care educators and system-level professionals who work to increase the supply, quality, and sustainability of family child care through the provision of services and resources.
Utilize and create within All Our Kin’s software management tools, CRM, and project management tools,Monday.com and Salesforce.
Relationship Management & Outreach
Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with partners, funders, and collaborators.
Conduct outreach to prospective partners and support the cultivation of new relationships.
Represent All Our Kin at conferences, convenings, and sector events.
Contribute to communications and marketing efforts by recruiting for TA engagements and supporting marketing in its initiatives.
Organizational Responsibilities
Support fundraising efforts and donor stewardship as needed.
Participate in organizational communication, planning, and evaluation processes.
Represent the organization professionally in community settings, which may require occasional travel to represent the organization.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment across the organization.
Other duties as assigned to support the organizational mission.
