Process Improvement Manager - Operations Excellence

Job Summary:

The OPS EXL Process Improvement Program Manager is responsible for PSA BDP’s global OPS EXL team’s project portfolio/program management with a special focus on process improvements and process automation.

Responsibilities:

Part of global OPS EXL global organization

Responsible for assigned OPS EXL projects in all areas - Operations, technology, analytics and functional (CoEs) with a special focus on improvements/automation

End to end project portfolio management for technology leaning projects

Responsible for allocated budget spend and ROI on the spend

Close collaboration with core CoE partners (IT/Digital) and also global OPS EXL team stakeholders

Responsible for inception to execution of all assigned initiatives under the business process improvement / automation program

Accountable for thorough documentation of the program (exec presentations, business cases, portfolio tracking, individual project updates, escalations, etc.)

Self starter and can do attitude (this role does not have direct reports, candidate must be able to work to influence all parties involved)

Tracking and reporting projects/ portfolios under overall OPS EXL target monitor

Escalations and conflict resolution in projects

Stakeholder management within assigned projects. Be a leader for change management

Act as trainer and execution specialist for OPS EXL and related initiatives

Work closely with EPI centers, operations, technology and functional teams

Job scope not limited to above-mentioned responsibilities, candidate must be flexible and willing to work on tasks and assignments in the global OPS EXL, Operations and CoE context.

Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE:

5-10 years experience in 3PL or supply chain management arena

5 years project management experience

5 years experience in handling large/complex technology projects portfolio and budgets

Experience in navigating global organizational complexity and execution of large projects

Experience in putting together artifacts for executive level consumption

Degree in Engineering or business management

Excellent leadership, analytical and people skills

Lean Six sigma or related Continuous improvement program certification or experience

Experience in operations desirable

Project management certification or skills

Open to travel 25% of the time
