GEM Summer Commodities Intern

Job Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain recurring portfolio, financial and management reports.
Collect, organize and review data used for management information, dashboards and presentations.
Conduct high-level fundamental research and analysis on commodities like oil, refined products, metals, natural gas and power.
Support commodities presentations with Powerpoint slides through related projects and spreadsheets.
Collaborate with Wholesale Banking product and coverage groups and participate in team meetings, networking and learning activities.

To be considered for the GEM Summer Commodities Intern role, you must have:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in mathematics, computer science, finance, business, economics, accounting, data analytics or a related field.
Strong academic performance and an interest in commodities analysis, food and agribusiness, energy, the green energy transition, and metals.
Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with Bloomberg or AI-enabled tools is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to summarize information clearly.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, take direction and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
A collaborative, self-motivated approach with initiative and a willingness to learn across teams.
