We're looking for thoughtful, skilled, and reliable part-time teachers to join our Yachad team. Our innovative religious education program serves nearly 600 students and we are looking for educators who are excited to build deep relationships with students and families, pass down meaningful Jewish traditions, and be an integral part of our team.

Our part-time teaching team is essential to the strength and stability of Yachad. Whether you’re in the building once a week or four times, our goal is that families experience a seamless, high-quality program—without ever needing to know whether their child’s teacher is part-time or full-time. What You’ll Do:

Teach a weekly class of 15 kindergarten students on Shabbat morning from 9:00am-12:30pm.
Create weekly lesson plans in collaboration with our Yachad team, using a curriculum map provided to you.
Build meaningful relationships with your students and their families
Communicate weekly with parents with the same consistency and care as full-time staff, sharing classroom highlights following each class, and keeping them apprised on student progress / challenges, as necessary
Foster a classroom environment that is joyful, inclusive, respectful, and safe
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth transitions, consistent expectations, and alignment with Yachad’s educational vision
Be a role model of Jewish values and curiosity, both in and outside the classroom

Who You Are:

A passionate educator who believes deeply in the importance of Jewish learning and community and has experience teaching early elementary
students in a Jewish education setting.
An excellent communicator—clear, timely, and kind—in person, by phone, and over email
A confident classroom leader who can manage a room of 10–15 student with warmth and ease
A team player who values collaboration and welcomes feedback
Someone who sees teaching as a way to make a real impact—not just for the students, but for the whole community
