Senior Project Manager- Transit Rail

Job responsibilities include:

Perform project management responsibilities on design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro area

Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies

Responsible for administering the design phase of the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement

Manage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets

Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects

Ability to coordinate closely with clients, contractors and project partners

Project types includes Design-Build, Development of Bridging Documents and Design-Bid-Build

Respond to client issued RFQ and RFPs, provide guidance to marketing for Transit Rail pursuits

Provide valuable leadership to mid-career staff and mentoring to develop their technical skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS + 10 years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Professional Engineer License

Preferred Requirements :

20+ Years of Experience with NY metro rail agencies including MTA, PA/NY/NJ and NJ Transit

15+ Years of Experience in Design Project Management Role

Strong understanding of FRA and FTA requirements for project implementation

Excellent written and verbal communications skills
