National Marketing Tech Assistant

Description and Requirements
General Description: Support Personal Risk Producers by completing tasks to secure new business. Assist the Marketing Specialist with marketing/placement of new business with insurance carriers.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the Regional Marketing Specialist. Review, input, and submit new business submissions in company’s agency management systems.
• Support Regional Marketing Specialist with follow-up information from Producers on recorded new business wins.
• Assist the Regional Marketing Specialist to quote online via carrier rating tools or submit to underwriter.
• Assist the Regional Marketing Specialist to complete marketing summary. Includes outlining terms, rates, commission, binding order documents, and carrier responses.
• Meet service standards and best practices developed by USI.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems.
• Keep informed about industry information, technology, and trends.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• High School Graduate. College degree preferred.
• Must hold a state Property & Casualty insurance license or willing to obtain.
• Knowledge of agency management systems, workflow procedures, underwriting, sales, and service processes.
• Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with internet-based programs and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.
