Armed Corporate Security Officer

(Active or Retired Law Enforcement)

Location: Newark, NJ

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $32.00 per hour

We are seeking a professional and experienced Armed Corporate Security Officer to provide security services in a corporate environment in Newark, New Jersey.

Requirements
Active New Jersey SORA Guard Card License (required)
Prior armed security experience (required)
Experience in a corporate security setting preferred
Must be an active or retired law enforcement officer
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to remain alert, make sound decisions, and respond effectively to security incidents
Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and company assets
Conduct patrols and monitor facility access points
Enforce site security policies and procedures
Respond to emergencies, incidents, and security concerns
Complete detailed incident and activity reports
Provide a professional security presence within a corporate office environment

Qualifications
Valid New Jersey SORA certification
Current or former law enforcement credentials
Strong observational and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Position Details
Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Corporate security assignment located in Newark, NJ
