*Salary:* $150K–$225K (based on experience)

*Description:*
A growing healthcare services organization with risk-based insurance contracts is seeking a hands-on financial leader to take full ownership of its books and reporting as the company scales. This is a hands-on role combining day-to-day accounting work with high-level strategic oversight, ensuring precision, compliance, and profitability clarity across departments.

*Responsibilities:*
- Perform and oversee hands-on accounting, including AP, reconciliations, and expense classification
- Review and sign off on high-value payments with full documentation and backup
- Ensure books are audit-ready and properly classified by department and expense
- Prepare and run detailed profitability reports, identifying revenue leaks and loss areas
- Track and analyze risk-based insurance contract performance
- Drive urgency on internal projects and reporting deadlines, and support performance management with HR

*Qualifications:*
- Proven track record in a Controller or CFO role required
- Prior team management experience required
- Strong background in corporate finance, private equity, FP&A, or financial reporting
- CPA strongly preferred; exceptional non-CPA candidates with rigorous attention to detail considered
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and strong aptitude for AI/automation tools; Yiddish fluency a strong plus
