Location: Brooklyn, NY 11230
Schedule: Full-time, [Monday–Friday]
Salary: $50,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience

Job Description:
Makor Care & Services Network is seeking an organized, hands-on Day Habilitation Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our OPWDD-certified Day Habilitation program. The coordinator is responsible for making sure the program runs smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with OPWDD regulations, while creating meaningful, person-centered experiences for the individuals we support. This role also plays a key part in growing the program, including building community partnerships, supporting new enrollments, and developing staff.

Key Responsibilities
Program Operations
• Oversee all daily program activities, ensuring schedules are followed and activities are meaningful, age-appropriate, and aligned with everyone’s goals
• Manage morning arrivals and afternoon dismissals, including coordination with transportation, residences, and families
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming program environment at all times
• Serve as the on-site point person for any issues that arise during the program day
Staff Supervision
• Supervise, schedule, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to staff
• Conduct staff meetings and help with onboarding new hires
• Monitor staff performance and address concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Minimum of 2 years working in OPWDD-regulated services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role
• Strong knowledge of OPWDD regulations, Day Habilitation documentation, and incident management
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and solve problems calmly
• Valid NYS driver's license preferred
• SCIP-R/PROMOTE, CPR, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass required OPWDD background checks, including Justice Center Staff Exclusion List screening
