Senior P&C Underwriter

A growing P&C insurance agency is seeking an exceptional, experienced Underwriter to join its team. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strong insurance professional with deep expertise in Real Estate and Construction risk management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong underwriting background, excellent risk judgment, and the ability to evaluate complex commercial accounts while developing tailored insurance solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities
Underwrite and analyze commercial P&C risks, with a strong focus on real estate and construction
Evaluate exposures, loss history, financials, coverage needs, and overall risk
Develop and structure competitive insurance programs
Manage relationships with carriers, brokers, and clients
Identify potential risks and provide effective risk-management recommendations
Review policies, endorsements, coverage terms, and pricing
Handle complex accounts and negotiate effectively with insurance markets
Help grow and develop the agency's commercial book of business
Requirements
Significant P&C underwriting experience
Must have strong experience with Real Estate and Construction risks
Excellent understanding of commercial insurance and risk management
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to independently manage complex accounts
Strong industry relationships and market knowledge are a major plus
