Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)

Create, self-shoot, and edit engaging social-first video content for Delish across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
Develop original content concepts inspired by food trends, recipes, restaurants, products, and pop culture.
Capture high-quality footage using professional cameras, smartphones, and basic lighting and audio equipment.
Edit polished videos with dynamic pacing, graphics, text overlays, captions, music, transitions, and sound design optimized for each platform.
Partner with editors, producers, and social teams to develop content that supports editorial priorities and audience growth.
Monitor social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging formats to keep Delish content fresh and relevant.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced editorial environment.
Incorporate feedback efficiently while ensuring content is accurate, accessible, visually engaging, and aligned with the Delish brand.

Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

2+ years of experience creating and editing social video content.
Strong portfolio showcasing self-shot and self-edited social-first video work.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or comparable video editing software.
Experience filming with DSLR cameras and smartphones.
Strong understanding of vertical video formats and platform-specific best practices.
Excellent storytelling instincts with a strong eye for pacing, visuals, and audience engagement.
Passion for food, restaurants, recipes, pop culture, and internet trends.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional editorial teams.
Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
This role is based in New York City and requires working in the office four days per week.
