Job description

Overview

Senior Planner is where you’ll start, but we’re always planning for where you’ll go. Our Senior Planners are all expected to hone skills that will help build on their careers. Those skills include:

Mentoring associate planners
Building Search best practices documents
Greater responsibility maintaining team and client health
Leading SEM tactical planning
Shepherd creation of media plans/media recommendations
Developing POVs on SEM industry updates/changes
Increased face time with clients

Yes, I want to do that. But what’s Heartbeat?
Heartbeat is a culture-first, creative agency that’s been recognized by both Ad Age and MM&M as one of the “Best Places to Work”. We take a lot of pride in that. And when we’re not having guac-offs or group trapeze lessons (true story), we’re furthering our unique position as the Healthcare Agency for Challenger Brands. Long story short, we’re optimists and activists who stand behind our values— that “Never Been Done” doesn’t mean “Don’t Do.”

Heartbeaters are thinkers and doers with healthcare roots and an appetite for fresh perspectives. We chase after challenges with a combination of ingenuity and guts. So if you want to surround yourself with partners who are insightful, inventive, and courageous—well, you just hit the motherload.

Responsibilities

This team is looking for someone who brings lots of laughs and no ego. We’re a team that loves to share memes, successes, and processes that help us learn from failure (and it’s OK to fail if we all walk away knowing more than we did). Beyond that, here’s what your responsibilities will be:

Ability to present ideas and gain consensus and support
A high level of energy and initiative to explore, conceptualize and implement new processes and workflows
Produce insightful client-facing reports via PPT.

Notify team of industry findings.
Ability to work with little to no oversight.
Oversight of day-to-day management of paid search accounts.
Ability to forecast metrics and account performance
Team building and leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications

By now, you’ve done everything that builds a solid foundation for a Sr. Search Planner with 3-4 years under your belt. Keyword research, account restructures, expertise in Microsoft Advertising, Google Ads and SA360 platforms—you feel like an old pro at these. But there are some tricks and skills you’ve refined even more:

Account Optimizations
Vendor communication: Google, Microsoft, SA360
Budget management: Daily, monthly, annually
Communication with internal/ external stakeholders
