Occupational Therapist - 30 hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join related services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong experience in various settings including school aged children. This role involves working with students with special needs, to develop and implement effective care plans that enhance the quality of life for our students.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students physical, emotional, and social needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students functional abilities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options and strategies for improvement.
Document student progress and modify care plans as necessary.
Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and relevant medical advancements.

Skills

Experience working in a school.
Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual student needs.
Understanding of speech therapy techniques is a plus.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school faculty.
