Senior Backend Engineer - ClickPipes Platform

What will you do?

Build and evolve integrations with streaming platforms and object storage, including Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, S3, GCS, and Azure Blob Storage.

Continuously improve our systems based on operational metrics, customer feedback, and evolving business requirements.

Drive technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that impact our platform's scalability and resilience.

Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and respond to production incidents.

About you:

5+ years of software development experience building and operating distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of Go and its ecosystem.

Experience designing systems for scalability and fault tolerance, with an understanding of concurrency, consistency, and failure recovery.

Understanding of cloud-native architecture and practical experience with at least one major cloud provider.

Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues in distributed systems.

Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and collaborate across engineering and product teams.

Experience with data ingestion pipelines, streaming platforms, or object storage is a plus.
