Special Education Coordinator CROWN HEIGHTS

We are seeking an experienced Special Education Coordinator to join our team. This role involves working closely with parents, schools, and providers, while assisting families in navigating the Special Education process from start to finish.

Requirements:

• Experienced Special Education teacher/provider with a strong understanding of Special Education services, procedures, and backend processes
• Experience guiding parents through meetings, evaluations, placements, advocacy, and related Special Education processes
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with parents, schools, and providers
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Responsible, knowledgeable, confident, and detail-oriented

The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking the lead in guiding parents, communicating with schools, coordinating services, advocating for students’ needs, and helping families understand and navigate each step of the Special Education process.
