Job description
We are seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented, and savvy Billing & Payroll Specialist to join our team for a maternity leave coverage position. This role is vital to our ongoing operations, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to manage our financial workflows from November or early December through March. To ensure a seamless transition and your long-term success, we will provide one to two months of comprehensive, hands-on training alongside our current staff.
This is a full-time position requiring availability Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to ensure consistent support of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day billing and collections, ensuring all invoices are processed with accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing cycle, maintaining precision and full compliance with company standards.
- Maintain meticulous administrative records and financial documentation to support company audits and internal reporting.
- Utilize financial software to monitor accounts, track payments, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure data accuracy across all platforms.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for staff, providing professional and supportive assistance regarding payroll inquiries.
- Coordinate pre-billing components by working closely with caregivers and departments, including hiring, case management, and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in billing and payroll processes, ideally within the healthcare sector (experience in ABA therapy, DDD services, or homecare is highly preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills; you must thrive in an environment where accuracy is paramount.
- A reliable, self-starting professional capable of working independently and taking ownership of mission-critical financial functions.
- High proficiency in financial software and standard office technology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with complete confidentiality and integrity.
If you are a meticulous professional who takes pride in your work and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. We value proactive problem-solvers who can hit the ground running with the support of our dedicated team.
While this is a defined contract position, we are continuously growing and are open to the possibility of long-term employment for the right candidate who demonstrates exceptional aptitude and reliability.
