The Program Aide supports clients at the Center for Cognitive Services, helping participants remain engaged, supported, and safe throughout the program day. **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, on-site. Membership in SEIU Local 73 is required. Responsibilities: • Support clients with hands-on assistance for daily living and personal care, including mealtime assistance, toileting, ambulation and mobility, and personal hygiene • Assist in the coordination, design, and active monitoring of stimulating activities that meet participants' needs and ensure their safety and well-being • Monitor day-to-day progress and changes in client functioning and report to the ADS Nurse and Program Manager • Engage and monitor clients throughout the day, including bus arrivals, greetings, and transitions between activities • Provide mealtime assistance including pre-meal handwashing, kitchen coordination, and preparation and distribution of meals and snacks • Complete documentation and record keeping for clients and Adult Day Services activity • Respond appropriately to emergencies and client safety needs, and participate in care plan meetings, staff meetings, and in-services Qualifications: • At least a high school diploma or GED • Experience working with the older population preferred • CNA or personal care experience preferred • Basic computer literacy preferred Salary: $21-$23 per hour. Full-time, hourly, non-exempt.
