Senior Security Culture Specialist

The Opportunity
Commvault is seeking a Senior Security Culture Specialist to join our Security Culture team and help build, scale, and energize the programs that shape how every employee understands and practices security. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role owns the design and delivery of our security awareness and engagement programs, including general awareness training, role-based training, special events, and the Security Champions program, and serves as the internal communications voice for security across the company. This is a hands-on role for someone who blends a security background with a genuine passion for learning, development, and motivation. The right person turns compliance-driven training into content people actually want to engage with and helps build a culture where security is everyone's responsibility.

What You'll Do...
Security Awareness & Culture Programs
• Develop and lead Commvault's security culture programs end-to-end, including general security awareness training, role-based training, and special events and campaigns.
• Design engaging, audience-appropriate learning content and experiences that drive measurable improvements in security awareness and behavior.
• Plan and execute security awareness initiatives such as Cybersecurity Awareness Month, phishing simulations, and targeted campaigns that keep security top of mind year-round.
Security Champions Program
• Own and grow the Security Champions program, creating specialized and advanced content for employees with deeper involvement in security.
• Develop engagement paths and community initiatives that strengthen security advocacy across the organization.
• Build a network of security-minded employees who help drive security culture within their teams.
Security Communications
• Serve as the internal communications lead for security across the company.
• Craft clear, compelling messaging on security topics, awareness initiatives, and behavior change programs.
• Translate complex security concepts into content that is relatable, memorable, and actionable for diverse audiences.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Program Management
• Partner across Security, Compliance, HR, Communications, and business teams to align messaging and reinforce key security behaviors.
• Embed security awareness and culture initiatives into the employee experience.
• Own and drive assigned initiatives with full accountability from concept through delivery and follow-through.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
• Define, track, and report metrics that demonstrate program reach, engagement, and impact.
• Use data and feedback to continuously improve security culture initiatives and training effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to drive stronger employee engagement and measurable behavior change.

Who You Are...
• 5-8 years of experience in security awareness, security culture, security communications, or a related discipline within a technology or SaaS environment.
• Security background with demonstrated experience running or supporting security awareness programs.
• Genuine interest in learning and development, motivation, and behavior change, with the ability to translate those concepts into engaging programs.
• Experience developing training content, campaigns, and communications for diverse, non-technical audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make security relatable, clear, and memorable.
• Experience coordinating events, programs, or community-based initiatives such as champion or ambassador programs is a plus.
• Familiarity with security awareness platforms and phishing simulation tools is a plus.
• High energy and enthusiasm with the ability to engage, motivate, and influence others.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong sense of urgency with a bias for action and delivery.
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for end-to-end program execution.
