Sr. Analyst, Payor Strategy & Contracting

POSITION SUMMARY:
Contracting Strategy: Identify and prioritize contracting opportunities based on reimbursement, volume, market dynamics, financial impact, and strategic value.
Financial Modeling: Develop Excel-based negotiation models, tools, and templates to evaluate agreements, reimbursement scenarios, and target rates.
Data & Analytics: Use SQL and large datasets to analyze reimbursement, revenue, and market trends.
Business Recommendations: Translate complex quantitative analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that support decision-making.
Process Improvement: Support No Surprises Act initiatives and identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring analyses, reporting, and workflows.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Analytical & Technical Skills: Highly analytical with experience manipulating, interpreting, and extracting insights from complex data, including 2+ years of SQL experience.
Business Judgment: Strong ability to connect data and business considerations to develop actionable recommendations and support decision-making.
Execution & Attention to Detail: Self-directed, deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work.
Communication & Adaptability: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the flexibility to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Relevant Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in analytics, strategy, revenue, healthcare, or a related field; healthcare revenue cycle, reimbursement, or payer contracting experience preferred, along with curiosity about AI and emerging tools.
