About the Role A growing product distribution company is looking for a Floor Manager to run its shipping and receiving floor. This is a hands-on warehouse leadership role: you will keep product moving in and out on trucks, keep the floor organized, and lead a team of five. It's a strong fit for someone hardworking and energetic who leads well and keeps operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Floor Operations
- Oversee day-to-day shipping and receiving on the warehouse floor
- Move pallets and products in and out on trucks
- Keep product flow organized, accurate, and on schedule
- Use company systems to track and manage floor activity
Team Leadership
- Manage and lead a warehouse team of five
- Set the pace on the floor and keep the team productive and organized
- Communicate clearly with the team and with management
Qualifications
- Hardworking, energetic, and capable
- A good leader who is organized and communicative
- Somewhat good with systems and comfortable using them day to day
- Warehouse management experience is a plus, not required
