Estimator A construction firm is seeking an experienced Job Estimator to analyze project costs, prepare detailed estimates, and manage bids using construction takeoff software. This role is ideal for someone analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled at balancing precision with practicality in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Utilize construction takeoff software to prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets based on architectural drawings and specifications. Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain up-to-date pricing and bid information. Analyze and evaluate subcontractor quotes, selecting appropriate vendors to optimize cost and maintain quality. Review project plans to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks. Support bid preparation, schedule management, and plan markups to ensure accuracy and efficiency. oversee and review work for remote team of estimating specialists to ensure accurate takeoff work. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in construction estimating Proficiency in construction takeoff software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in estimating software. Kreo preferred, planswift or bluebeam required.
