Delivery Walker

Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:

As a Delivery Walker at Ascenda Logistics Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community — all on foot!

Safely Navigate Walking Routes: Walk assigned routes in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all local and state traffic and pedestrian laws, as well as company safety policies.
Deliver Packages Efficiently and On Time: Load and unload packages into and out of your delivery cart or hand truck with care and efficiency. Ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers within your designated 5–10 block radius.
Work in All Weather Conditions: Comfortably and safely walk and deliver in various weather conditions.
Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Represent Ascenda Logistics Inc. with professionalism and a positive attitude always. Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction even in challenging or stressful situations.
Utilize Technology for Efficiency: Use smartphone devices for GPS navigation, package scanning, routing information, customer delivery information, and completing administrative tasks.
Adapt to a Challenging Environment: Keep pace with the demands of a dynamic and physically challenging role.

Requirements Include:

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a valid, non-expired State ID or Driver’s License (IDNYC cards are NOT acceptable).
Authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to communicate well.
Must be able to move packages up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Must be customer oriented with a ‘Safety-Always’ mindset.
Must be available and willing to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of the weekly schedule.
Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
