Campus Director (ECS)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of ECS, the Campus Director will:

Act as a liaison between CPC and stakeholders, which includes funding agencies, school leadership, community members, and community partners.
Oversee program coordination of publicly funded youth development initiatives at Waters Edge Educational Campus HS.
Hire, lead and support a diverse and talented team of the program staff
Plan and facilitation of the social-emotional learning, interactive projects-based learning, career-readiness, college readiness, and basic life-skills workshops, participant orientation and worksite orientation components
Provide individualized guidance and counseling, case management services and internship placement based on interest/career goals
Ensure the program meets target enrollment numbers, deliverables, and DYCD audit requirements.
Oversee family engagement, wellness education, workshops, referrals, and supportive services designed to strengthen family well-being.
In collaboration with school leadership, plan and develop project-based learning experiences tailored to meet the developmental needs of younger youth aged 14-15; and work-based learning experiences for older youth aged 16-24
Cultivate a diverse portfolio of public, private, and non-profit worksites; develop community partnerships with other youth-serving and supportive service organizations
Support school with implementing a comprehensive participant outreach, recruitment, selection, enrollment and placement strategy
Administer program budget and monitor expenditures
Ensure proper reporting and communications with government agencies
Comply with DYCD policies and administrative procedures
Promote a positive workplace culture; convene regular team meetings and check-ins with school leadership to assess program progress and challenges
Assist the Director/Deputy Director of ECS, or school leadership with special projects and other strategic priorities as needed

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree
Prior experience working with High School youth in an after-school setting

Skills and Competencies:

Culturally competent professional committed to providing services in a manner that is sensitive to participants’ cultural heritage and traditions, life experiences, sexual orientation, and gender identity
Strong work ethic and demonstrated passion for working with diverse populations, especially immigrant and low-income communities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and virtual platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and Webex.
Willingness to travel to worksites via public transportation.
Fluency in Arabic, Spanish, or Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS OVERVIEW

Annually salary range of $70,000 - $74,000; 35 hours per week
