Job description

You will:

Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Risk to define the operational requirements, controls and readiness plans needed to launch and scale Array’s payment capabilities
Partner with our existing Money Operations team responsible for our D2C offerings. You ensure our B2B and D2C operating models, capabilities and roadmaps are aligned
Build, operate and continuously improve the transaction monitoring, settlement, reconciliation, exception-management and reporting processes supporting Array+ and Private Label solutions
Define and manage the end-to-end payment account lifecycle for B2B clients, including onboarding, activation, account changes, risk-related actions and offboarding
Establish and lead the response to payment incidents and complex client escalations, including runbooks, triage, communication, resolution, root-cause analysis and corrective-action tracking
Own the day-to-day operating relationships with processors, sponsor banks, gateways, and acquirers, including partner performance, issue escalation and the operational implementation of new partners
Establish scalable processes for disputes, chargebacks, returns, holds and other payment exceptions in partnership with Risk, Compliance and Finance
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert internally and externally
Partner with Legal and Compliance to translate regulatory and contractual requirements into operational controls, documentation, audit evidence and remediation plans
Maintain a habit of using AI tools to think, build, and ship faster—it’s your default, not an afterthought.

You have:

5+ years of experience in payment operations, financial operations or payment infrastructure, including several years leading teams or functions
Direct experience working for a payment facilitator, embedded-payments platform or vertical SaaS company with integrated payments
Experience building or scaling payment operations in a high-growth, technology-driven environment
Strong working knowledge of ACH and card-payment flows, including authorization, capture, funding, settlement, reconciliation, refunds, chargebacks and exceptions
Experience managing payment incidents and complex client escalations, including triage, communications, root-cause analysis and corrective actions
Demonstrated ability to design operational controls, procedures, reporting and audit evidence in partnership with Legal, Compliance and Risk
Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to define operational requirements, launch new payment capabilities and automate manual processes
Strong analytical ability, including defining KPIs, identifying payment-performance issues and using data to improve reliability, risk and efficiency
Experience building teams, establishing coverage models and creating accountability in a function where responsibilities are still evolving
A belief that AI is reshaping work, you instinctively use it to accelerate everything you do.
