Lead Radiology Tech

Responsibilities

The Lead Radiologic Tech will be responsible for scrubbing in on all Cardiac, neurology, and vascular cases with the ability to monitor hemodynamics.
Assist by scrubbing in procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.
Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
Monitor and keep inventory of par level of all instruments and supplies.
Assist in training any new hires.
Utilizes time productively and appropriately with respect to patient flow, room use, stocking of supplies, and clerical duties to increase department efficiency.
Functions to work independently and in a cooperative manner in a teamwork-oriented atmosphere within the department and hospital-wide.
Provides assistance to the physicians or other Rad Tech's and RN’s in the performance of more complex procedures.
Troubleshoot, document, and communicate any equipment issues.
Perform any and all other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program, NJ RT license.
3 years’ experience as a Radiologic Tech.
ARRT Certification.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
ACLS required (ACLS within 6 months of employment).

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
