Fundraising Officers

This is an NBN Connect post on behalf of another organization.

We are currently recruiting professionals with fundraising experience and networks in one or more of the following regions: US West Coast, US Southwest, US East Coast, US Northeast, Canada, South America (60–100% positions)

Key Responsibilities:
• Solicit major gifts from individual donors and foundations
• Cultivate, steward and develop major and new donors, and build long-term, trusted relationships
• Identify and research prospective donors and foundations
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies for assigned regions
• Write and adapt donor-facing marketing and fundraising materials
• Collaborate with “Friends of Herzog” organizations abroad
• Plan and organize parlor meetings and fundraising events

Basic Requirements:

• Proven fundraising experience in one or more of the above regions
• Native or near-native fluency in English, Spanish, or Portuguese (depending on the assigned region)
• If Israel-based: Written and spoken Hebrew — required
• Minimum 5 years of fundraising or consultative sales experience.
Public relations experience is an asset but does not substitute for fundraising or donor solicitation experience.
• Excellent communicator, strong presentation skills
• Highly self-motivated and proactive
• Strong team player with solid administrative abilities
• Willingness to travel internationally several times per year
