About the Role:
An e-commerce company in Brooklyn is hiring an AI Automation & Systems Integration Specialist to connect its business software, automate manual reporting, and give leadership a clear view of where sales are rising or falling. The specialist builds and maintains integrations across sales, operations, and inventory systems, then turns that combined data into dashboards and reports teams can act on. It's hands-on work that blends technical problem-solving, data analysis, and close collaboration with business teams, with full ownership of each project from requirements through ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Integration

  • Connect e-commerce, sales, operations, inventory, and other business systems through APIs, automation platforms, or custom integrations
  • Maintain reliable data flow between software tools and troubleshoot failed or inaccurate integrations
  • Review current systems and recommend practical ways to make them work together

AI & Automation

  • Identify repetitive reporting and operational tasks that can be automated
  • Build AI-assisted workflows and internal tools that reduce manual work and improve accuracy
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve automations after launch

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build dashboards and recurring reports that combine data from multiple systems
  • Create reporting tools that help leadership see where sales are increasing or decreasing
  • Track trends, exceptions, and key business metrics, and present the information clearly so teams can act on it
  • Check data quality and reconcile discrepancies between systems

Collaboration & Ownership

  • Work with leadership and department teams to understand reporting needs and business processes
  • Translate business questions into practical systems, integrations, and reports
  • Own projects from requirements through implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing support

Qualifications

  • Experience with APIs, systems integrations, workflow automation, or internal business tools
  • Experience building dashboards or reports using data from multiple sources
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and sales data
  • Working knowledge of AI and automation tools
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and explain technical information clearly to nontechnical teams
  • Preferred: SQL, Python, JavaScript, or no-code/low-code automation platforms
  • Preferred: Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools
  • Preferred: Marketplace, ERP, CRM, inventory, order-management, or accounting system integrations
