Description
The Lubin School of Business Dean’s Office is hiring a Student Assistant to support student engagement, prospective student events, presentations, and administrative activities. The Student Assistant will work closely with the Dean’s Office and assist with a variety of events and projects designed to enhance the student experience and support Lubin’s recruitment and engagement efforts. The ideal candidate interacts with many Lubin students on campus and has been involved in student activities and clubs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing Lubin student events, including setup, registration, communications, and event support
Assist with prospective student events, including Open Houses, Accepted Student events, information sessions, and other recruitment activities
Be available to work some evenings and weekends, particularly for prospective student and other major Lubin events with possible events on the Pleasantville campus
Create, edit, and manage PowerPoint presentations for student, faculty, prospective student, and administrative events
Ensure presentations and event materials follow Pace University and Lubin School of Business brand guidelines and approved brand assets
Assist with maintaining and organizing digital event materials, presentations, photographs, and other resources
Help identify and contact students for panels, presentations, events, and other Lubin activities and develop scripts
Conduct practice sessions with student panelists to ensure quality
Assist with collecting, organizing, and managing assessment and student engagement data
Work collaboratively on the Lubin Awards Ceremonies and manage student award winners and programs
Provide basic technology and IT assistance during meetings and events, including presentation setup, Zoom/Teams support, and troubleshooting
Assist with communications and administrative projects for the Dean’s Office
Support other Lubin School of Business activities and special projects as assigned
Perform other such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a current Lubin UNDERGRADUATE Sophomore or Junior
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Strong interest in event planning, student engagement, marketing, communications, or business
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to create professional, visually appealing PowerPoint and Canva presentations
Ability to follow university branding and formatting guidelines
Comfortable working with technology and providing basic technical assistance
Professional, friendly, and comfortable interacting with prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, and visitors
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
Reliable and able to work some evenings and weekends as required for events
Prior experience with event planning, presentations, marketing, social media, technology, or office administration is a plus

Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Must be able to handle confidential information in a discreet manner
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Reliable and patient with visitors
Office experience a plus
