Large Bakery looking for Manager

Brooklyn Based Bakery is looking for a responsible, organized, and
hands-on Overnight Packing Manager to oversee our evening packing operation. 

Hours are 5pm- 3 am. Sunday- Wednesday

SALARY- $2,000 a week.

This position is responsible for managing approximately
15 employees who pack a wide variety of bakery products for different customers
and orders. Because we work with many different packaging materials, labels,
boxes, and customer-specific requirements, attention to detail and strong
organization are extremely important. 

Responsibilities 

• Oversee
and manage approximately 15 packing employees throughout the shift. 

• Make
sure all products are packed correctly and according to each customer's
specific order requirements. 

• Ensure
the correct boxes, packaging materials, labels, quantities, and packing methods
are being used. 

• Review
orders carefully and make sure instructions are followed accurately. 

• Keep
the packing operation organized and moving efficiently throughout the night. 

• Communicate
clearly and respectfully with employees and be able to give direction when
needed. 

• Address
packing mistakes or employee issues as they arise. 

• Follow
instructions and priorities provided by the General Manager. 

• Be
dependable, responsible, and consistently on time. 

• Arrive
20 minutes before the start of each shift to meet with the previous shift
manager, review outstanding work, and understand the priorities and
responsibilities for the night.

This is an important management position within our
bakery and requires someone who takes ownership of the shift and makes sure
every order leaves the packing department correctly and on time.
