Job description
Key Responsibilities
Audiovisual & Technical Support
Prepare and operate audiovisual equipment in classrooms and campus event spaces.
Assist faculty, staff, students, and event organizers with classroom and event technology.
Set up, test, and break down A/V equipment, including microphones, projectors, displays, speakers, and related equipment.
Perform basic troubleshooting of audiovisual and classroom technology.
Identify technical problems and escalate issues to Educational Media full time staff when additional assistance is needed.
Conduct routine checks to ensure classroom and event technology is ready for use.
Provide on-site technical support for classes, meetings, presentations, and special events as assigned.
Administrative Support
Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
Greet visitors and provide general assistance to the Educational Media office.
Take accurate and detailed messages for staff follow-up.
Assist with other departmental tasks and projects as needed.
