Job description
What You’ll Do:
Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Install and configure Windows operating systems and forensic tools.
Boot systems from external devices for analysis and recovery.
Utilize virtualization software such as ESXi and Hyper-V for incident response and recovery efforts.
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Develop and execute scripts using PowerShell for automation and incident response tasks.
Implement and manage Group Policy settings to enforce security policies.
Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Entra Connect for identity management.
Utilize Microsoft Intune for device management and security compliance.
Configure and troubleshoot networking issues, including firewall policies, VPNs, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
Work with SonicWall and Fortigate devices to ensure network security and integrity.
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
Proven experience in incident response and cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of Windows installation and configuration.
Familiarity with forensic tools and methodologies.
Experience with virtualization technologies (ESXi, Hyper-V).
Proficient in Windows Server management and Active Directory.
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
Understanding of Group Policy management.
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Connect, and Intune.
Experience with network configurations, including firewall policies and VPNs.
Hands-on experience with SonicWall and FortiGate security appliances.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call as needed.
