Job description
What will you be doing?
The Operations Manager partners directly with the VP and CTO, Cloud, Infrastructure, and AI Solutions to drive operational execution, reporting, and strategic cadence across the Global Solutions and Architecture (GS&A) practice. This role combines Chief of Staff responsibilities, including keeping the leader informed of upcoming key decisions and deliverables, representing the leader in designated forums, and coordinating leadership events and cadences, with operational ownership of the team's strategic execution, headcount and budget planning, and AI adoption programs across the practice. This role partners closely with peer operations managers across GS&A's solution areas and technology groups, as well as the GS&A Operations Director, to align reporting, process, and execution across the broader organization. This role also works closely with some of GS&A's earliest-in-career team members, aiding in their professional growth.
Responsibilities:
Serve as Chief of Staff to the VP and CTO, Cloud, Infrastructure, and AI Solutions, keeping them informed of upcoming key decisions, deliverables, and risks across the GS&A practice
Stand in for the VP and CTO in designated leadership forums and meetings when they are unavailable, ensuring continuity and progress on key initiatives
Build and deliver regular reporting on practice-wide goals, KPIs, and results, including dashboards and executive updates
Own AI adoption metrics and processes for the practice, including tracking and promoting citizen development activity across teams
Manage day-to-day operations of the team, including tracking key deliverables and ensuring completion across the leadership team
Manage the practice's existing and planned headcount budget, including forecasting and reporting against plan
Coordinate key leadership events, including offsites, all-hands meetings, and recurring weekly cadences
Partner with peer operations managers across GS&A's solution areas and peer functions, and with the GS&A Operations Director, to align processes, reporting, and priorities
Serve as a central point of contact between teams to monitor status of initiatives
Ensure visibility and reporting of field enablement content aligned to the portfolio
Ensure the upkeep of HR, business, corporate culture, and leadership requirements for the GS&A leadership team
Measure, using appropriate tools (e.g., Job Performance Matrix), and manage the performance, development, and engagement of the team
Lead the team to ensure effective, strategic engagement in achieving GS&A's goals
