Job description
Principal People Experience Partners help accelerate Articulate's business by partnering with leaders to build high-performing organizations where people can do their best work. They combine deep business insight, functional expertise, and practical coaching to help leaders navigate organizational challenges, develop talent, and make thoughtful decisions about organizational design, performance, engagement, and change.
Working closely with leaders across our Product, Design, and Engineering teams, you'll serve as both a strategic partner and a hands-on operator, translating business strategy into practical people solutions while diagnosing organizational needs, influencing organizational decisions, and helping teams adapt and grow.
You'll also help shape and lead company-wide People practices and programs, strengthen how People Partnering operates across Articulate, and help create an exceptional employee and manager experience at scale.
What you'll do:
Act as a trusted strategic advisor and coach to senior leaders and managers, developing deep fluency in your client groups’ strategy and priorities. Bring sound judgment and organizational context to complex decisions, anticipate downstream implications, and translate strategy into action.
Lead the talent agenda for assigned client groups, partnering with leaders and People Team experts on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership capability, succession, retention, performance, and development.
Shape and own company-wide People programs and practices, partnering across the People Team from problem definition and design through stakeholder alignment, rollout, measurement, and iteration. Bring business insight to ensure our People solutions evolve with Articulate’s needs.
Leverage business, talent, and organizational insights, along with technology, People Systems, external practices and trends, and AI-enabled solutions, to identify emerging patterns, improve decision-making, simplify work, and create better employee and manager experiences.
Lead leaders and teams through organizational change by diagnosing risks, anticipating resistance, shaping communication and engagement strategies, and helping leaders navigate change with clarity, resilience, and confidence.
Own the engagement approach for assigned client groups, including survey planning, leadership debriefs, and translating feedback into focused, sustained action, while helping evolve Articulate’s broader engagement strategy and practices.
Guide key moments across the employee lifecycle, providing strategic counsel and hands-on partnership on the decisions that shape the employee and manager experience.
Lead complex employee relations matters with sound judgment and care, assessing risk, advising leaders on options and tradeoffs, driving issues to resolution, and escalating when appropriate.
Drive operational excellence within your client groups, owning the administrative responsibilities that come with the territory while identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve how work gets done at scale.
Strengthen the People Partner function by sharing expertise, improving practices and tools, identifying systemic opportunities, and raising the quality, consistency, and impact of People Partnering across Articulate.
What you should have:
10+ years of progressive HR, People, or Talent experience, including 4+ years as a People Partner or HR Business Partner in a SaaS, technology, or similarly complex environment.
Demonstrated experience partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering organizations and advising VP-level and more senior leaders.
Broad expertise across organizational design, performance and talent management, change, and employee relations, with demonstrated depth in one or more areas.
Excellent judgment and the ability to operate independently in ambiguity, evaluate tradeoffs, and influence senior leaders through complex decisions.
Demonstrated track record of owning major cross-functional or company-wide People programs or practices from problem definition and design through stakeholder alignment, execution, adoption, measurement, and iteration.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to constructively challenge and align senior leaders.
Strong business acumen and the ability to interpret people and business data, identify meaningful patterns, and translate business goals and insights into clear People strategies, decisions, and scalable solutions.
Experience leading client groups through organizational change, including anticipating needs, advising leaders, and adapting plans as conditions evolve.
Experience partnering across People functions and leveraging HR systems, tools, and AI-enabled solutions to shape and deliver integrated, scalable solutions and improve how work gets done.
Demonstrated track record of improving People practices, operating models, or employee experiences beyond an assigned client group and creating sustained impact across multiple teams or organizations.
