Job description
What You’ll Do:
Senior Software Engineer and Technical Owner of platform integration. Gaining a deep understanding of the technology and systems underpinning the service, enabling the ability to troubleshoot issues, evaluate changes, and make informed technical decisions.
Design, maintain, and deploy scalable and highly available cloud-based applications using C#/.NET and client-installed agents
Implement and maintain high standards of software quality and security, regularly reviewing code and processes to drive improvements.
Facilitate collaboration with other departments, such as product management, architecture and customer support, to incorporate user feedback into product development.
Using Scrum processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, UX, Dev) to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to architectural decisions.
Optimize applications and infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-production issues, ensuring the reliability and availability of our systems. Working with support and the customer to resolve issues.
Look for ways to improve the development and automation processes (code quality, E2E testing, security scans, etc.), monitoring, and tiered incidence response.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging the team to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies relevant to Privilege Access Management.
Contribute to and improve the code, tooling, and techniques that are shared across Platform teams.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of professional experience working as a software engineer with a minimum of 3+ years as Software Design and Architecture, with a focus on .NET development.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and learn large code base.
With 600+ integrations in various technology stack - the candidate should be a polyglot developer. Ready to work on wide range of programming languages (Python, Go, Erlang, JS, Typescript etc.,) with a decent fluency level.
Proficiency in C#, .NET Core development with a bonus for significant Azure Cloud tech stack development experience.
Experience with Azure DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automation testing.
Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices.
We'd Love to See:
Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM), Secret Server/Vault solutions and cybersecurity principles, with experience in developing security-focused software.
Experience interacting directly with customers in a support capacity.
Experience with SQL and code optimization
Experience in FedRAMP environment
