Supply Chain Associate

What is the role? 
The Supply Chain Associate supports the execution and continuous improvement of supply chain and operational activities for the North America Commercial organization. This role works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders—including Operations, Sales, EHS, and Finance—as well as external partners such as the third-party logistics provider, and fleet service vendor. The Associate actively supports supply chain operations, manages fleet-related administrative tasks, tracks and reports KPIs, and coordinates internal and external communications.
In addition, the Supply Chain Associate supports office-based operational functions and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, service reliability, and overall operational performance. The role plays an important part in ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards, while consistently aligning with organizational objectives and core values.

What are the key responsibilities?  
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders while upholding all Aerogen core values.
• Respond promptly to email inquiries, prioritize issue resolution, and escalate unresolved matters to management as needed.
• Update and maintain driver profiles (fuel card, addresses, license plates, etc.).
• Schedule, coordinate, and manage fleet vehicle transfers.
• Respond to and assist fleet drivers with vehicle-related inquiries.
• Assist in maintaining, tracking, and reporting monthly KPI results.
• Support global EHS initiatives at the Chicago office location
• Prepare and distribute internal and external communications as directed by management.
• Assist with maintaining internal operational reporting and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to support shipments, inventory availability, and urgent customer orders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the scope of the role.
• Regularly review training materials to remain current on procedures, systems, and job-related tasks.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

What education and experience are required?
• 1–3 years of experience in business, supply chain, operations, transportation, or vendor management; experience working with third-party vendors, external warehouses, or 3PL partners preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field preferred; an Associate’s degree with relevant experience will be considered.
• Working knowledge of supply chain and warehousing operations strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in medical device supply chain operations is a plus.
• Experience collaborating across multiple departments within an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, accurate work products, including reports and metrics.

• Willingness and ability to learn new skills quickly and support multiple functions outside of the immediate job scope.

Specific Requirements
• Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel
• Use office machines such as copiers, scanners, phones, fax etc. as needed to perform tasks
• Manual dexterity to perform keyboarding tasks, ability to sit for extended periods with or without accommodations
• Read, write, speak in English fluently
• Hybrid Role, M-F 8am-5pm. In Chicago office Tues/Wed/Thurs and remote Mon & Fri (May be asked to come into the office on WFH (Work from Home) days)

Salary Range for this position is estimated at $60,000-$72,000 and will depend on the candidate's skills, qualification and experience.The role is eligible for a comprehensive benefit package including Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage, 401k Retirement, Enhanced Global Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (15-20 days tenure related), Global EAP Program, Short-Term Disability and FMLA Benefits.
