Gap Year Counselor

Working with International Youth

We are looking for a Gap Program Counselor to join our team in an interesting and meaningful role that combines organizing activities and events with providing personal support and responding to the needs of international youth throughout the program.

About the Role
Assist in creating content and organizing social and educational activities
Accompany students on trips, outings, and events
Provide personal support and respond to students’ questions, concerns, and needs throughout the program
Help create a warm, welcoming, and positive group atmosphere
Work with internal and external partners and staff

Requirements:
Experience working with teenagers and/or youth movements – an advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathy and strong listening skills
Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
High level of English, both spoken and written
Preference given to students who live in university dormitories
